Easter Egg Hunt Or Job Hunt?Posted: 11.04.2017
You probably associate Easter with hunting for eggs rather than jobs but Easter is the perfect time to be tracking down your new career; with two bank holidays back-to-back it gives you a bit more time to plan your next (or first) career move.
Edit – Update your CV by tailoring your CV for different roles that you are applying for, focus on the elements of your experience that are suitable for that role.

Did you know that April and May are the best times of the year to be looking for jobs? Summer is always a very busy period for most companies which means they need to ‘crack’ on with their interview processes and hire candidates to fill their vacancies before the busy season is upon them. They also know they need to do it within these months because the following few months are the busy holiday periods which can make the hiring process more difficult.
So if you are looking for a new job Just Suffolk Jobs have put together a few quick tips for the Easter job hunt:
Get Social – Try talking to friends and family who may know a company that’s recruiting. Try social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn as they can be a good way to view job listings before they are posted somewhere else. Employers also sometimes use social media to find qualified applicants, it’s usually a faster and cheaper method.
