The Sunday Times has unveiled its list of the 20 best villages in Britain, with one in Suffolk village making the chart.
Lavenham In Suffolk comes in at 8th places, this comes at no surprise as it’s well placed for commuters working in Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds, which itself was voted number 13 in the telegraphs ‘ Top 20 places to raise a family in Britain’.
It’s also well known for its Tudor houses and medieval square which did actually feature in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for all you ‘Potterheads’ out there. No wonder Lavenham is a popular destination!
